The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.

This course considers the UK regulations that users must comply with, to show that their equipment is safe to operate, adjust, maintain etc. Every mandatory regulation of PUWER is discussed, as well as the additional regulations that deal with Mobile Work Equipment, including:

- Suitability of equipment

- Training and instructions

- Maintenance

- Inspections

- Controls and control systems

- Isolation

- Markings

The course also discusses the various systems the user should have in place, as well as considering the safety of the equipment itself.
